.BALLYHEIGUE NOTES – 20th July 2015

SEASON ON SONG - The launch of this year's Pattern "Thrasher" Gathering was
celebrated with style in the White Sands last Thursday night. Special
Guests, Richard Casey and Danny O'Mahony lead the occasion with words of
praise and renditions of tunes which captivated the large attendance on the
night. Musicians, singers and dancers wove an air of magic and set the
preparations for this year's Pattern Trad Event on a really firm footing.
Thanks to all participants.

SWIM WEEK - The Irish Water Safety ran another very successful swim week in
Ballyheigue, with children receiving lessons in the sea from beginners to
the advanced level and wonderful to see the improvement in all the swimmers
at the end of the week .

them and special thanks to instructors, Jane and Saibh.

Hope to see you all again next year and expect better weather.
